Smokey Mountain – Paraiso

Smokey Mountain was a Filipino singing group formed by musical director, composer, and conductor Ryan Cayabyab. The original group was based in Manila, Philippines, and had James Coronel, Geneva Cruz, Jeffrey Hidalgo, and Tony Lambino as its members. They were often dressed in ragged clothes to depict the then dire situation of the scavengers living in the garbage dump in Manila after which the group was named.

Itchyworms – Love Team

The Itchyworms is a Filipino rock band whose music is primarily guitar-driven rock with pronounced 1960s and 1980s pop sensibilities and embellished with two- or three-part vocal harmonies. The group made their name in the OPM (Original Pilipino Music) scene in 2006 with their sophomore effort Noontime Show with songs such as Akin Ka Na Lang and Beer.

Brownman Revival – Walang Kasing Sarap

Brownman Revival is a Filipino reggae band. The band was started in late 1994 and was founded by Dennis and Dino Concepcion, who also founded Indio I in 1993. The group draws heavily from the music of UB40, Big Mountain, and Bob Marley. Members of the band are:

  • Dennis Concepcion – drums & backup vocals
  • Alphy Desaville – guitar & backup vocals
  • Januarie Sundiang – percussions
  • Jayson Cuevas – trombone
  • Jojo Antinero – saxophone

Callalily – Magbalik

Callalily is a 5-piece OPM band from the Philippines, composed of Kean Cipriano, Alden Acosta, Tatsi Jamnague, Aaron Ricafrente and Lemuel Belaro. The band has won several awards since 2007 and is on its way to a steady career in the Philippine music scene.
