Kuh Ledesma has been performing for over 25 years in the music industry, and was also the first Filipino singer to have received the Salem Music Awards in London in March 1989. Harry Santos is a Filipino singer who ranked fourth on the reality TV show Pinoy Pop Superstar which Gerald Santos won, as hosted by Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid. During the contest, he often sang songs of Josh Groban which suited his voice very well. Currently, he appears in a noontime show along with other finalists in the Pinoy Pop Superstar.

Yano is a folk/punk rock band in the Philippines formed in 1993. Originally, the band members were Dong Abay, Eric Gancio, Onie Badiang, and several drummers. In Tagalog, Yano means “simple.” As of 2007, Eric Gancio revived Yano as a one-man band, with back-up musicians for live performances. A new album is also in the works, which Yano fans should watch out for.
